S’park Market

WE O’Neil brought on The Art of Concrete to tackle the decorative concrete for the new S’park Market, located at Valmont & 34th Street in Boulder, Colorado. The artisans at The Art of Concrete created a custom seeded glass and aggregate concrete finish with a specialty black color to create a “lightening bolt” concrete path through pavers (by others).

The Art of Concrete is constantly innovating and changing the decorative concrete industry by providing unique, custom solutions for their clients. This project for Boulder’s new S’park Market is a perfect example of that ingenuity. When first exposed to the flatwork requirements, it was obvious that it needed something extra special to complement the rest of the project. The concept of using seeded glass as an aggregate material in the concrete was proposed to represent the name of the project and imagery of the lightning bolt.
