Kenney’s Run

For years Kenney’s Run had been constrained to an underground box culvert that runs below Ford Street and the parking lots at the Coors Brewery in Golden. The Art of Concrete helped the Coors Brewing Company and the City of Golden with a custom structural concrete staining and an anti-graffiti seal. We started painting a base coating on the entire walls before the actual stain. The staining was completed with only two colors that blended and matched with the surroundings. This gave the walls a normal and realistic coloration for the finish product. To protect and keep the coloration long lasting an anti-graffiti seal was coated onto the walls to prevent any paint from bonding to the surface of the walls.
