North Wynkoop

 Mortenson Construction brought on The Art of Concrete to tackle all of the decorative concrete for their Midtown East, now known as North Wynkoop, project. With colored sand finish exposed aggregate concrete and miles of decorative saw cuts, the new development in Denver’s RiNo District is open to the public.

Attention to detail

Decorative saw cuts that look straight for entire city blocks is not an easy task. However, the crew at The Art of Concrete pays attention to every detail, ensuring ever cut meets the expectations of the client. In addition to the great beveled saw cuts, the crew was attentive to the and exposure of the concrete and consistent color loading between pours.

The Art of Concrete worked with Mortenson Construction, the project’s General Contractor, and Wenk, the Landscape Architect to give the developer high end decorative concrete for the River North District’s newest arts and entertainment addition. They even created a custom mix for the development outside of the Mission Ballroom which combines mirror glass with the concrete to give the plaza extra pizazz for the music venue.

REsults

The Art of Concrete provided high-end decorative concrete the mixed-use development in Denver’s RiNo (River North) Arts and Entertainment District. The sand finish concrete, detailed saw cuts, and custom glittery concrete enhanced the overall site, creating a fun and sophisticated enhancement to what could have been plain gray concrete. The character and quality of the decorative concrete exemplifies the overall revitalization of this once industrial part of town.
